We’ve had the privelage to play in many of Argyll’s villages and towns, watched brides and grooms dance the night away and even made the odd trip out into the big bad world. It has been an absolute pleasure and we are sure it will continue to be as much fun.

We are planning some sort of celebration so watch this space.

All the best for 2011 and here’s to the next 10!

Chris stood in for Christophe a couple of times this year and then she joined us all for a gig after that. We liked the sound of the two fiddles so much that we have asked her to join full time and she agreed. Happy days!

I haven’t been using abc software so much recently, so they are only available in pdf or midi format for the moment.

We have many more tunes and hope to have them added to the list when we find time.
The tunes will be available in three formats; abc, pdf and midi.
Both Dave and Christophe also write music and I will hopefully be able to add some of their tunes soon.

Due to a backup disaster my photographs are presently unsorted, so all I could find were some old promotional images from 2001. More images should appear soon, but if anyone out there has any photographs of The Ceilidh Bandidos we would love to see them.

I will continue adding and editing the content as time goes on and now I am thinking more about the design. I found a theme that I quite liked but got loads of validation errors from it, so I will be trying out some new themes over the next few days. It’s quite likely that the site will look different every time you visit but we hope to settle on a theme soon.

I decided to use WordPress as the back end as I wanted a more dynamic site that can be updated by any of the band members from any computer anywhere in the world.
