“we’re getting the band back together!”
Well, The Ceilidh Bandidos are back together. In 2004 we decided to take a break to concentrate on other musical projects, particularly Orchestra Macaroon which was Colin Blakey’s baby. As well as playing with Orchestra Macaroon Stephen formed Pigtown Fling with Rab Woods. When The Bandidos decided to start playing for dances again Rab was an obvious choice to replace Colin who had moved to England. The very day I contacted the guys to arrange our first rehearsal, I received an email asking if I could put together a band for a dance… perfect timing. We only had four weeks to pull it together but it all went well and it is a great pleasure to play with the guys again.
