Christophe likes to think that he is a member of the Ceilidh Bandidos on account of his prodigious fiddle skills. The truth is that Stephen likes to have someone on stage shorter than him!
Here is what Christophe has to say for himself…
”I am 37 years old and live in Kilmichael Glen, Argyll. Originally from Lille in the north of France I came to the west coast of Scotland for a working trip where I fell in love with one of its women who is now my wife and the mother of our 12 kids (only kidding, one seems to be plenty at the moment). The landscape took my breath away and its culture was fascinating. I found the music especially exciting and when I decided that I had to give it a go the fiddle seemed the obvious choice. I am mostly self-taught with a healthy input from fiddle extraordinaire Archie MacAllister. My playing is firmly rooted in traditional Scottish and Irish music and nothing gets me going more than the sound of feet stomping on a dance floor. So, Allez Allez Messieurs Dames Venez danser!!”
