dave baggalley

Well what can we say about Dave ‘twinkle fingers’ Baggalley? When he is not cutting his hands to shreds with slates or crashing cars, Dave’s fingers dance across the ivories like a young backpacker walking across hot coals on his/her first trip to South East Asia. (How was that for a silly and pointless analogy?)

Here’s what Dave has to say for himself…

‘I was born at an early age in Tibshelf, Derbyshire. The name Tibshelf, incidentally, has two origins; one from Norman times meaning ‘sacred place on a hill’, the other from Douglas Adams meaning ‘a criss-cross wooden construction hung on a wall in a teenage girl’s bedroom which is covered with glass bambies and poodles, etc’.

I now live in Kilmahumaig (look it up) where I run a small recording studio under the guise of Spare Sounds and mend roofs.

This fine bunch of proper musicians let me play my keyboard with them and I don’t think they even get paid for doing so. Lovely boys.

Right, I’m done, you can lower the voltage now……’
